Ah popovers.  A firm statement of good living.  The weekend, Indian summer, family, friends, all ingredients for making popovers a good idea.  Truthfully, I can’t imagine any reason why popovers would be a bad idea.   Grab a blender, add flour, eggs and milk in the ratio 1:2:1.  Salt batter and pour into buttered muffin tins.  Pinch some grated cheese in each and pop in a 400° oven for 30-40 minutes (depending on size of tins).  It’s easy, they smell great, they please crowds.  Step up.
