toofu braincells

Mother Elinor and I would eat this appetizer every so often.  My memory is foggy when trying to recall the origin of its discovery.  Although I do remember mumsey and myself loving the combination of the cold crisp scallions eaten in concert with the firm raw tofu dipped into a potion of mustard, cayenne, soy, sesame oil and rice vinegar.  Wait a second I’m going in for another bite.  Damn that is refreshing.

      Not at all my spicy little friend. But maybe we should add a little Hoisin to complete the flavor array…
