trigger happy

April 5, 2012

The Wild West has spawned a street food revolution and an invasion of food trucks across the U.S. .  My interest was piqued some time ago about being a part of this mobile manifest destiny.  So I set out to find the optimal food-trucksmith.  After a long ride with Google, numerous day trips and phone conversations, I took aim on a dude in New York.  We met here as he broke in this beast.  Before I fired off my first check he assured me my stallion would make this gelding look like a clown car.  Bang, the shot was fired and the day of reckoning is upon me.  I’m feeling good.

Can’t wait for the truck to come to my neighborhood! You are gonna blow all other trucks here out of the water. Never had a bad meal from you and as my food-picky hubby would say, “I’d try anything that Don made.”

Mazeltov Don!! Hope you’ll be making some Cuban inspired dishes. I’ll send you some nice recipes that you can spice up a bit. I know you can take it to a whole other level!
