chopped

September 9, 2012

Fish tacos have been the most requested item from my kitchen this summer.  They are damn good!  As a result, red and green cabbage, cilantro, scallions and fresh squeezed lime juice have been core ingredients found in my refrigerator.  On this day of taco transcendence, the goal was to combine the above (ingredients) into not a fish dish.  The chopping began with the addition of broccoli, carrots, green beans, and peanuts.  Tossing it all with a limey, sesame oil-brown rice vinaigrette seemed like a plan.  The cold sesame noodles helped the cause.  Luckily I wasn’t…chopped!
